Round 6: (Sl st, Ch 1, Sl st, Ch 1, Sl st) all in the next ch-5 loop. Sc in the next Sc. *Ch 9, Sc in the next Sc in the top of the ch-9 loop* 9 times. Ch 9, Sl st in the beginning Sc. [10 ch-9 loops and 10 Sc made.]

Round 7: *(5 Sc, 2 Dc, and 5 Sc) all in the next ch-9 loop* 10 times. [100 Sc and 20 Dc made.]

Round 8: Sl St in the next 5 Sc, Sl st in the next Dc, *Sc in between the 2 Dc stitches, Ch 9* 10 times. Sl st in the beginning Sc. Ch 1, pull up a loop, and cut to fasten off then wave in the tail. [10 ch-9 loops and 10 Sc made.]

{Adjust the Ch 9s in round 8 as needed - between 5 to 15 each ch - depending on your tension and the size of your ball. Less chains will be tighter to the ball. Too tight and it will not stretch around the ball.}

Finishing: Using a whip stitch, thread a piece of yarn through all 10 loops in round 8. Wrap cover around ball, pull the yarn tight and tie the ends together.
