Material: worsted weight yarn, any color
US Hook Size: G (4.25 mm) or 7 (4.50 mm)
Also needed: yarn needle, scrap yarn for face, and a large handful of poly-fill
Stitches Used: magic circle (mc), single crochet (sc), invisible decrease (inv dec), chain (ch)
Finishes Size: 6.5-7 inches tall, head is about 3 inches wide

Helpful Hints: Amigurumi is very forgiving! Learn to count stitches. Try to end each round on
the number of stitches made [6, 12, 18, 24, etc.] If you are short a stitch after any round, add
one, if you have too many stitches, do an invisible decrease.

Begin: mc, 6 sc, pull starting yarn tight, closing circle completely [6 stiches made]
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc of previous round [12 stiches made]
Round 3: *(2 sc in 1st sc, 1 sc in the next sc)*6 times [18 stiches made]
Round 4: *(2 sc in 1st sc, 1 sc in each of the next 2 scs)*6 times [24 stiches made]
Round 5: *(2 sc in 1st sc, 1 sc in each of the next 3 scs)*6 times [30 stiches made]
